Senior iOS Engineer
Mission/Purpose:
We seek a highly skilled Senior iOS Engineer to join our Product Development team to help build new features for our core product. This role is primarily responsible for the development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for making an impact through pushing the limits of mobile technologies and will work alongside other engineers and data scientists to design the next generation of the app and SHIP EPIC!
Accountabilities:
-Lead and Own iOS Products
-Work with Product Team To Design/Build Features
-Work with Backend Team to Design/Build API and Tech Specs
-Collaborate with stakeholders and implement necessary enhancements to the app
-Produce features on time with few bugs
Skills:
-Domain expert on iOS ecosystem
-Communication: Communicating timelines, changes, and blockers openly and quickly
-Architecture and design: Implementing best practices for contracts between mobile and back end
-Time/Priority mgt: Effectively manage your time in order to get features launched on time while supporting the team
-Leading and owning the IOS app
What technical knowledge do you need to perform in your role?
Required:
-Objective-C and Swift
-Responsible for helping maintain code quality, organization, and automation
-Responsible for providing prototypes and proofs of concepts
-Use encryption tools to safeguard content
-Proficiency with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Preferred:
-TensorFlow Lite, CV, ML, AR/VR
-Camera Framework deep understanding
-C and/or C++
-Firmware and drivers
-Understand Android Stack as well
Qualifications
Must Haves:
-Design and build applications for iOS platforms
-Ensure performance and quality of the application
-Collaborate with cross-functional team to define and design the app
-Perform checks on correct functionality of the app
-Integrate the application with backend tools such as cloud, APIs, and push notifications
-Responsible to help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
-Responsible for providing prototypes and proofs of concepts
-Use encryption tools to safeguard content
-Proficiency with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
-Basic understanding of Android UX
